Pro-mat Red Series 150 watt
The 150 watt Pro-mat Red Series is a reliable and affordable choice for anyone looking for a complete electric underfloor heating kit. This red heating mat is approximately 4 mm thick and features fluoropolymer inner insulation with a strong PVC outer sheath.
In terms of thickness and cable construction, the Red Series is similar to the well-known Magnum Mat, but it was developed as an affordable Pro-mat solution. The 150 watt per m² version is suitable for bathrooms, kitchens and other rooms where comfortable underfloor heating is required.
Pro-mat Red Series 200 watt
Do you need more power or faster heat-up times? The Pro-mat Red Series with an output of 200 watts per m² is an interesting option. This heating mat is also approximately 4 mm thick and is supplied as a complete kit with a WiFi thermostat and floor sensor.
A 200 watt per m² heating mat can be suitable for rooms with higher heating requirements. Bear in mind that the higher output also results in higher maximum electricity consumption while the heating is switched on.
Complete electric underfloor heating kits
A complete Pro-mat underfloor heating kit provides the main components required for installation. Depending on the selected kit, it includes a heating mat, thermostat and floor sensor. Versions with the smart Pro-mat PS60 WiFi thermostat are also available.
The PS60 can be controlled remotely using the Tuya Smart App and supports Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. It also features weekly programming, energy consumption monitoring, open-window detection, adaptive control and a memory function in the event of a power failure.

An insulating subfloor helps to reduce downward heat loss. ProBoard XPS insulation boards with a thickness of 6 or 10 mm, for example, can improve the floor’s heat-up performance. Good floor insulation can make a significant difference to comfort and energy consumption, particularly above a cold subfloor.

Pro-mat or Magnum underfloor heating?
