Separate Pro-mat heating cable rated at 13.78 W/m for decoupling mats. A spacing of 2, 3 or 4 studs provides approx. 230, 150 or 115 W/m². Decoupling mat and thermostat are not included. Read more.
The Pro-mat heating cable, rated at 13.78 W per metre, is designed for electric underfloor heating in a suitable decoupling mat with a 30 mm stud pitch. The cable is installed between the studs, allowing the heated area and output per square metre to be adjusted.
This product contains only the heating cable. The decoupling mat and thermostat are not included and can be ordered separately or as part of a complete set.
The final output per square metre is determined by the spacing between the cable runs. For most rooms, we recommend the standard spacing of three studs, producing approximately 150 W/m².

Please note: at 230 W/m², the same cable covers a smaller area. At 115 W/m², the cable can be distributed over a larger area.
Each cable size is based on the standard installation of approximately 150 W/m² with three studs between the cable runs. Installing the cable closer together or further apart changes the area it can heat.

Example: the 10 m², 1500-watt option heats 10 m² using the standard three-stud spacing. At two studs it heats approximately 6.52 m² at 230 W/m². At four studs it heats approximately 13.04 m² at 115 W/m².
Important: always calculate the net heated floor area. Subtract permanent objects positioned directly on the floor, such as a bath, kitchen unit or fitted cupboard. The heating cable must not be shortened.
